These 8 Hot Blazers Do Double Duty

If you’re interning this summer, good for you! It’s a great way to get your foot into the real world.
It’s a also a great way to experience the way dressing in the real world is different from dressing when you’re college. See, in college you can pretty much wear sweats all day and LBDs every night (though I don’t recommend this).  Once you graduate and get a job, you’ll need to update your closet.
Pieces that transition from work to bars are perfect for your post-grad lifestyle, and when you start interning it’s the perfect time to get used to this new fashion routine. Blazers are obviously great for job interviews and days at the office, but if you find the right one, they also look great worn over jeans or dresses for a night out or a dinner date.
If you’re going to an interview – especially if you’re looking for work in a more traditional industry – I’d suggest sticking to a more basic blazer. Once you get the job you can have a little more fun though. Colored, embellished and printed blazers are all great transitional pieces. Check below for some of my favorites.
