It’s Memorial Day weekend—thank you, jebus. There’s nothing like a three-day weekend to decompress, eat bbq, have a picnic at the park and hang with your buddies. It’s also a pretty good reason to look at adorable doggies. Red, white and blue memorabilia might be a little too corny for you but you can always dress up your favorite pet to represent ‘Merica. Memorial Day is when we commemorate fallen soldiers who martyred themselves so we can have the many freedoms we have today. Let us not forget that many of those martyrs were also dogs. Dogs have been used in warfare for hundreds of years and are still used in the military today. Not only man’s best friend, trained dogs serve and protect the lives of troops on the field. This isn’t just for the fallen troops, it’s for the fallen pups.
