Solange Is Writing A Tell-All Book About Beyoncé And Jay Z's Marriage

Solange is writing a tell-all book about Beyoncé and Jay Z’s marriage according to a report from InTouch Weekly. Ooooooooooh snap. Apparently she is getting $20 million for it, which simply cannot be true. This would be the ultimate revenge but I doubt it will be as juicy as we think. Tina is not going to let her daughter slander her other daughter. I am sure they’ve all signed contracts and gag orders to prevent something like this from happening.
Damn does it sound so delicious though. Jay Z and Beyoncé are excellent at controlling their image but they could not have possibly foreseen this. The unreleased InTouch article leaked says:

“From cheating to abuse to fake baby bumps, Solange could reveal what’s behind rumors that have plagued the famous family. . .

Solange is growing increasingly fed up wih playing seconf fiddle to Beyonce, 32, and sources believe she’s ready to spill the beans on everything from their estranged father to how Beyonce turns a blind eye to Jay Z’s womanizing. ‘Solange was always in the background while Beyonce was the golden child,’ says a family friend. ‘She’s sick of being held down and she’s ready to fight back.'”

We know that Solange and Jay Z don’t get along. For someone to get so angry they use physical violence at the Met Ball, a public event with cameras waiting at the end of that elevator ride, she has to be reaching her limit. The tell-all will supposedly be about their estranged cheating father, Jay’s infidelity, Beyoncé’s fake baby bump and Destiny’s Child drama. The question is: will Solange betray her sister’s perfect image? I am sure she is willing to sell out Jay Z but will she go so far as to hurt her sister? I have no clue.
I am sure you are wondering why I even care? One of the answers is no one is above gossip and gossip about celebrities is the least harmful to our daily lives. I can talk about Beyoncé’s personal life but I should probably keep my mouth shut about my BFF, right? The intellectual answer is that celebrity conspiracy is fascinating. Celebrities have a way of making us feel so close to them when they are in fact so far away. Every celebrity from Beyoncé to Jennifer Lawrence is fake. They’re fake because all we know about them are fragments and phrases from scattered interviews and ephemeral moments. Even documentaries about them are edited to promote their image not to provide us with true insight.
All celebrity personas are mere constructs, whether it’s the celebrity’s intention or not. Furthermore, these people owe us nothing. These people owe us no peeks into their private lives. They are merely actors and performers. They only owe us doing a good job. Imagine being a barista and because you make someone’s coffee they feel entitled to knowing who you are sleeping with and why, to the worst things you’ve ever done, pictures of your bad hair days, and stories about your home life? That’s totally ridiculous. If Solange offers information on how this process happens then that is really fascinating stuff. She might just break the fourth wall on celebrity PR.
