A Half-Moon Manicure DIY That Anyone Can Do!

What if I were to tell you that you could find the secret to one of those fancy nail art looks at your local Office Depot?
Well put your surprised face on because that is exactly what I’m telling you. You remember those reinforcement things you used to use in your binders? Turns out they didn’t go obsolete when people forgot that paper is still a thing. Those happen to be the cornerstone of this seriously easy – but also totally impressive – nail art look.
You’ll also need two complimentary shades of nail polish – one light one dark – to achieve this look. That’s it. So without further ado, your guide to the “half-moon mani.”

Step 1: Use the lighter shade the paint your nails as usual. Do two coats (more if needed.)

Step 2: This part is really important: Wait for you nails to dry completely. You’ll majorly f*ck this whole thing up if you don’t.

Step 3: Place a reinforcement sticker at the cuticle of each nail. You can cover as much or as little of the cuticle area as you want, just make sure the reinforcements are all uniform.

Step 4: Once they’re all in place, paint over the entire nail with the darker shade. The reinforcement will cover a semicircle around the cuticle area.

Step 5: Again, wait until everything is completely, completely dry.

Step 6: Remove the reinforcements from your nails. Voila!

Super easy, right?
