Thursday was a pretty slow day on my end – work, scheming and social media creeping. Luckily, I still had my friend’s brother’s cousin’s sorority sister’s Twitter page open when I noticed an odd trending topic: “If I Ate The Pwussy Would U Tell Yo Homegirls????” Four question marks and all. Ummm…huh? Was this a rhetorical question? Or was it one of those trending topics where you replace a word in a movie or song title? Intrigued, I continued to click around until I found the root of the inquiry.

Alas, it was Plies – a native Floridian slash 24/7 goon slash rapper, obviously. Somehow, my assignments fell by the wayside and I was sucked in to Plies’ page, a mélange of music videos, relationship advice, thirsty fan retweets and so, so much more. I’ll admit that I haven’t paid much attention to Plies since the beginning of his career (remember his duet with T Pain, and the one with Ne-Yo?), but I’m grateful to be able to use this weekend to catch up.
