At this point in time, who isn’t on Facebook and/or Twitter? Not only is it a way to stay connected to friends, family members and foes from all around the world, but it’s also a great networking tool. That is, if you use it right. Social media is great for keeping up with current events and style inspiration in my book. I enjoy scrolling up and down my timeline to see what’s happening in the world. But newsgathering is kind of difficult when the Timeline Trolls are clogging up a good thing. You know the people I’m talking about – these game requesting, frequent status updating, spammy-ass friends who COMPLETELY misuse and abuse their websites of choice. And I mean yeah, you can always hide someone’s presence from your timeline or if you’re feeling extra gutsy, you can just unfriend. But for every Timeline Troll, there’s probably two or three to take its place. Sigh. I can’t believe that we’re still having this conversation in 2014, but here goes…
