Father’s Day is this weekend and it can be a little weird. What do we get our dads? If my dad wants something he buys it for himself. How do we spend time with our dads without it being super awkward? I personally don’t get my hopes up. While I feel lucky to even have a father who cares about me and supports me, that doesn’t mean he is any less cheesy or embarrassing than other dads. I only ever really started to appreciate my parents when I began to meet my friend’s parents. Oof. Relativism is a great way to appreciate what you have.
