Okay, before we get into this, let’s make one thing clear: Everything on this list appears because, in my humble little opinion, they just don’t measure up to the rave reviews. That doesn’t mean they’re bad products, these are just my thoughts. If any of these products worked out really well for you, that’s great! They just didn’t quite do it for me.

The items below are products that beauty experts/magazines/sales associates/bloggers/regular people just straight up gush over. I’ve tried all of these products, even dropped a lot of cash on a few of them, only to be ultimately disappointed by them. There really is no such thing as a product that will deliver the best results for every single person who uses it and I’m willing to bet that a lot of the things I swear by just don’t cut it for some of you.
