25 Schools With the Fastest Internet Speeds. Brb, Transferring.

I think my biggest undergrad struggle – you know, besides paying for college, finding affordable housing, passing all my classes, juggling my internships and finding full-time employment – had to be accessing the wifi on good ol’ Howard University’s campus. There’s no pretty, journalistic way to say this – but it sucked. It really, really blew. Sometimes, I was driven to tears because of the crappy connection…it made doing homework and ordering pretty dresses from Asos so, so difficult. Anywhere you went, the wifi sucked…from the dorms to the dungeons of our 200-year-old buildings. I discovered a hack during my second year of undergrad…Starbucks. Though it was still on campus, I got a lot of work done there because the connection was faster. But soon, my secret was out and I lost my favorite table in my favorite corner to Frappuccino-guzzling freshmen. #THE. #STRUGGLE.
I’m not alone, right? My Bison and I can’t be the only ones with wifi horror stories. Huffington Post published a list of schools with the fastest Internet speeds. The infographic, with analytics from Valore Books and Testmy.net, includes heavyhitters like Rice, Texas A&M and Drexel as well as smaller schools like Houston Community College and Lamar State College-Port Arthur (number one!). No Ivies to be seen, ironically. Is your school on the list, or are you megabit deficient? Keep it real, y’all.
