Ever wanted to get a nose job? You should probably look into contouring first. I don’t know how “big noses” got a bad rap. Like, I genuinely—I am not even saying this to be all “body positivity,” or anything either—I love big-ass noses. I think your big ass nose is attractive, cute and distinctive.
I remember being 15 years old and thinking Ashlee Simpson had the best nose. There was just something about that girl’s nose that I thought was awesome. I know that sounds weird, it is weird, but I have no problem admitting that I sometimes look at other people’s features in sincere admiration. I was shocked when Ashlee got a nose job. It wasn’t like her new nose was bad, it wasn’t like she was less gorgeous, her new nose was certainly her own personal choice but it was also less special. Ashlee Simpson might be a weird reference for you guys but her first album Autobiography was a flaw free pop record and sold 5 million copies so don’t front like you didn’t love her too. I am just saying at one point Ashlee Simpson looked like Ashlee Simpson, then she got a nose job and looked sort of like Jessica Simpson and Drew Barrymore fused together. She erased just a tiny bit of her individuality (which, your real uniqueness is not defined by any physical trait, btw) and I sort of miss it (and her awesomely, dumb music).
I like big noses but maybe you don’t prefer them and maybe you think your nose is big and maybe you want to change it. Regardless of what anyone believes, plastic surgery is up to you. Nevertheless, we all know that a nose job can so easily get botched and when you shave off too much of it, it can be difficult to repair. Instead of invasive surgery, why not look into contouring? You can use makeup to create the illusion of a smaller nose without having to make a permanent and costly decision. It may turn out you don’t like it, it may turn out you do like it and want to get that surgery. This non-surgical nose job how-to by beauty guru Carli Bybel could be the thing that helps you make that decision. It’s also just a handy trick for Halloween costumes and all that.
