When I need to fix my face up in a matter of seconds, mascara is always the one product I turn to. It’s quick, simple and it makes my eyes stand out in my face so much, I feel instantly glamorous and confident. It’s a pretty remarkable thing – literally a few coats of mascara takes me from drab to fab.
Then again, maybe it’s because I use what is quite possibly the world’s best mascara. Ladies, let me introduce you to YSL’s ‘Babydoll.” It seriously works WONDERS.
Why, you ask? What makes this so different from the tube of CoverGirl Lash Blast you can snag for a fraction of the price? Because this stuff is just plain beyond. Let’s start with the packaging – it’s slim and sleek and stores easily. All good things – but what really sets this apart is the brush. It’s so flexible, it really lets you get every little lash. The brush is the perfect size too, neither too slim nor too thick.
As for the formula, you can expect a seriously smoldering look from this product. It goes on so smoothly and it lengthens and thickens your lashes a lot. It also does a nice job of holding a bend if you curl your lashes before applying.
Overall, I have one word for this mascara: dramatic. If you like your lashes to really stand out, give this a try. If you have a darker complexion, definitely give it a try – it’s the most legit shade of black ever. This stuff costs $30 so no, it isn’t cheap. But isn’t worth it? IMHO, absolutely, doll.
