Emoji Yoga is a thing that exist and it’s called Emoga. The art of Emoga was created by 20-year-old, Londoner Charlotte Bell who gives private lessons to her friends. The Emoji class begins with a “poop Emoji warmup position.” That totally makes sense because you always start the day with your morning poo. The classes are set up through Emojili, an Emoji-based social networking site that I had no idea existed.
Charlotte said of her beautiful idea, “London is desperate to do social media rather than talk about it. I’m tired of people misunderestimating this language, while at the same time trying to mime in a random way so that they just look like an emoji without intending to. Yoga is the perfect way to express one’s current emoji mood. And it’s also pretty much quiche.”
I didn’t know “misunderestimating” was a word but wow is it ever. . . Anything that gets the body moving and incorporates Emojis doesn’t sound like a waste of time to me.
