A trio of ladies, under the name The Prettiots, who just get me released a song called “Boys (I Dated In High School)” and it is literally everything.
It’s got a fun beat and it’s just quirky enough to be your new fall jam during those back-to-school study sessions. It’s got a little bit of a 80’s pop feel and I’m telling you that I am just all about this song this morning.
The band, The Prettiots, is a mix of the words pretty and idiots which is just awesome. They are comprised of lead sing Katy Goldberg, 23, Rachel Trachtenburg, 20, on drums and Lulu Pratt, 18. It’s a fresh sound. I like that they are my age so they sing about things I can relate to. Their other single “Stabler” is a love ode to the one and only Detective Stabler on Law and Order: SVU, so basically these girls are my spirit animal.
