During Jay Z’s performance of the song “Beach Is Better,” Hova switched the lyrics from “I replace it with another one,” to, “Cause’ she pregnant with another one.” Is this a sly way of announcing that Beyonce is pregnant with her second child?
It’s not like the last time Bey announced her pregnancy wasn’t a bit of a stunt. Turning up at the VMAs with a concealed belly only to reveal it like it’s a grand finale is anything but subtle. If Bey is pregnant, I can’t help but feel this announcement is a little shady. Consider the fact that this was Bey Z’s final performance on the European leg of the On The Run Tour and that they’ve been dealing with divorce rumors and rumors that they started the divorce rumors themselves, it all feels a little too neatly wrapped together.
Not to mention that there is still plenty of speculation as to whether Bey was ever really pregnant with Blue Ivy. The Carters are starting to feel more and more inauthentic in their behavior the more they are overexposed. On the other hand when everyone is treating your personal life like a soap opera or the latest gossip can we really blame them for exercising total control over their image and milestones?
Either way they’ll be a polarizing couple, why not do it on their own terms.
