Create Endless Looks with Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna Palette [In Our Makeup Bag]

What It Is:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna Palette

Why This Should Be in Your Bag:

Welcome the Tamanna palette to the Anastasia Beverly Hills family! She is joining a handful of other recent collaborations with social media makeup artists/gurus (Amrezy, Maya Mia) and is designed to “achieve her most requested looks on any skin tone.”

The combination of “rich neutrals and shimmering jewel tones” actually appeals to me the most of any eyeshadow palette Anastasia has released, so I was excited to try it out!

How To Use It:

The palette comes with 5 “Get the Look” cards, which I promptly tossed – I found the looks to be too heavy for my pale skin. Check out the swatches below! Unfortunately, the Noir in my palette arrived shattered, so I couldn’t swatch it. It appears to be a matte black.

CC Rating: A

I’m really liking the color combo in the Tamanna Palette. Unlike many of Anastasia’s palettes, the palette isn’t filled with only warm shades and is wearable for most skintones. All of these collaboration palettes consist of mostly neutrals with a couple pops of color, which in this case are quite wearable and chic. Venezia is a gorgeous blue-teal and Sangria is a stunning cranberry – both work as subtle pops of color for makeup lovers who don’t wear brights.

The neutrals are wonderful too! I’m obsessed with the cool, metallic taupe that is Custom and surprised by how much I like the coral-peach, China Rose. The selection in this palette makes it great for travel when you want a selection of neutrals, but a few pops of color for fun. All 9 shadows I was able to test were great – good payoff and easy to blend.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna Palette is available directly from their website for a cool $29.
