8 More ’90s Cartoons They Should Remake

Get excited, Disney is bringing back Ducktales, the series that gave us the most humable theme song, in 2017. But Ducktales is far from the only ’90s cartoon that deserves to be brought back. Here are a few others that deserve consideration.

1. AnimaniacsĀ

Besides boasting an impressive collections of puns and jokes for the grown-ups, an episode could be more educational than your average Bill Nye: The Science Guy.

2. Aaahh! Real Monsters!

Now they’d have to deal with the increasing tolerance people have gained for things that go bump on the night (a side-effect of too many Paranormal Activities).

3. Recess

It would be cool to see how smuggled in cell phones and iPads would play out on the playground.

4. The Weekenders

Just so we can get even more weird pizza place themes.

5. As Told By Ginger

Because there are still middle school girls who need this show. Also, it could inspire a Missy Elliott style Macy Gray revival.

6. Rocket Power

A way better way to encourage kids to get active than a boring PSA.

7. Rugrats

Maybe landing somewhere between the original and All Grown Up? Rugrats, the kindergarden years?

8. Doug

Just to un-do what Disney did to it.
