Rihanna Kicks Off A Series of Free March Madness Concerts

March Madness has officially begun, but for those of you (like me) who have no idea what it even is, we can at least appreciate some good music- and for free.

The NCAA announced Monday that Rihanna will kick off the three-day March Madness Music Festival. Although it begins on Friday, April 3, the singer will take the stage the following day alongside Bleachers.
The announcement comes after her single, “American Oxygen” became the tournament’s theme song last week.
Other artists like Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum, and Kacey Musgraves will perform in conjunction with the Final Four basketball games on Sunday, April 5.
Last year’s March Madness Music Festival featured performances from Bruce Springsteen, Fun, The Killers, Tim McGraw, and Jason Aldean.
Luckily, if you don’t feel like taking the trip to ‘The Crossroads of America” and fighting the crowds to get a glimpse RiRi, you’ll be able to watch the concerts from the comforts of your own home as it streams live on NCAA.com.
