Dreaded iPhone Texting Bubbles Mystery Solved

We’ve all been there: You’re in the middle of sending a text to this new guy you’re talking to when someone calls, or you’re replying back to a message from your mom about what NSFW means when your boss tells you to do something. Three hours later, you suddenly realize that you forgot to respond and then panic sets in. Those damn bubbles must have been going that whole time…or were they?
Tbh, we probably could have figured this out ourselves really easily, but it’s always better when someone does the work for you. Turns out, no matter how long you’ve been away from your phone, the longest those bubbles will last is 60 seconds.
Can I get an ‘amen?’
