Disney princesses and other female characters have long been criticized for being poor role models for young girls. Cartoonist and mom Linnéa Johansson’s new coloring book features an empowering series of drawings that combat gender stereotypes and show these well known figures in a new light. “Super-Strong Princesses” re-imagines female characters as strong, active role models – a follow-up to her popular “Super Soft Heroes” coloring book, which tackled typical portrayals of masculinity in superheroes. Check out Elsa, Anna, Cinderella, and the rest of your favorites as you’ve never seen them before.
