Who’s NOT in T-Swift’s 'Bad Blood' Music Video?

As we mentioned earlier in the week, Taylor Swift has been generating a lot of buzz surrounding her new music video for “Bad Blood”—giving teasers via Instagram of the A-list celebrity ensemble set to star alongside Swift in the video. And the momentum for the video hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down. The music video is set to premiere at tonight’s Billboard Music Awards. Swift is nominated 14 times, in 13 different categories, for her 1989 album—making her one of the most nominated artists of the year. Many of the celebrities filling the star-studded roster don’t come as much surprise, like BFFs Karlie Kloss, Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham and Ellie Goulding.
But there have been seemingly out of left field—such as Kendrick Lamar (the only male announced—at least so far—to be in the video), Jessica Alba, Grey’s Anatomy star, Ellen Pompeo, and even Cindy Crawford. Every day, as Swift announces more and more celebs who will be in the video, it seems it’s becoming easier to ask who isn’t in the video—rather than who is.
Below is the full list—so far!—of celebrities set for us to see in the world premiere of the video tonight, as well as the alter-ego characters they’re playing. (Note: Considering how many A-list celebrities have been announced, and how often, we can only assume there will be some last minute bombs dropped between now and the premiere.)

  • Lily Aldridge starring as Frostbyte
  • Zendaya starring as Cut Throat
  • Hayley Williams starring as The Crimson Curse
  • Gigi Hadid starring as Slay-Z
  • Ellie Goulding starring as Destructa X
  • Hailee Steinfeld starring as The Trinity
  • Lena Dunham starring as Lucky Fiori
  • Kendrick Lamar starring as Welvin Da Great
  • Karli Kloss starring as Knockout
  • Serayah starring as Dilemma
  • Jessic Alba starring as Domino
  • Martha Hunt starring as HomeSlice
  • Ellen Pompeo starring as Luna
  • Mariska Hargitay starring as Justice
  • Cara Delevigne starring as Mother Chucker
  • Cindy Crawford starring as Headmistress
  • Selena Gomez starring as Arysn

The video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who also directed her “Blank Space” video, and will officially be her fourth video off the 1989 album. Though we don’t know much about what the plot line will entail—other that it will be packed with celebrities of course—Swift did hint who her character (Catastrophe) will be feuding with through her captions on some of the Instagram photos. So far they have included “Catastrophe vs HomeSlice” and “Catastrophe vs Knockout”. The theme of battle makes sense, with all the video posters displaying the song lyric “Band-aids don’t fix bullet holes.”
We can’t wait to tune in tonight to see what this #BadBloodMusicVideo is all about!
