Justin Bieber makes headlines again— but this time it seems to be for a more endearing reason than say, egging houses or drag racing up and down the streets of quiet neighborhoods.
It’s no secret that, especially since Comedy Central’s Roast of him, Biebs has been trying to turn over a new leaf, and show the world that he is much more than the immature delinquent he was been acting like the past few years. (I’m willing to cut him some slack. I gave my parents HELL as a teenager…)
This week on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Corden continues his Carpool Karaoke segment in which he picks up stars and has them sing along to their own songs, as well as answer some interview questions.
In Bieber’s episde, Corden and he talk about:

By the looks of this video, it seems he may be succeeding in showing the world a better side of him. Between admitting that in 10 years his goal is to be “completely secure in [him]self, and have a family,” to solving a rubik’s cube in one quick sitting, Biebs seems determined to show that he is more than the reputation he’s gotten over the past couple years.
Let’s just hope it stays that way– or, at the very least, if and when he messes up, he promises to sing Boys II Men to make up for it.
(Side note: The one part I found cringe-worthy in this video is when he is talking about wearing a pair of underwear only once before throwing them out. I get that he is mailed boxes and boxes, and probably just doesn’t know what to do with them all, but I have to think that he can come up with something better than just tossing them in the trash..)
