If Fiji’s clear turquoise ocean and warm weather hasn’t earned it a spot on your travel bucket list, maybe their new attraction will send it right to the top of your must-see destinations. There’s a place that I’m not entirely convinced is real because it sounds too good to be true. A place you thought only existed in dreams. It’s a new floating bar/pizzeria off the coast of Fiji appropriately called Cloud 9 and it’s exactly what I imagine heaven to be like.
For a day of fun in the sun, you’ll can reach the oasis by boat in about 45 minutes from the Fijian island of Viti Levu. Once you arrive at the two level floating getaway, you can take a dip in the crystal clear water or lounge on day beds before indulging in their wood-fired pizza (including gluten-free options) and a tasty cocktail (or five). If relaxing and chowing down is too tame, you can participate in water sports like jet skiing and parasailing. Cloud 9 even has DJs on the weekend and can accommodate weddings…yeah, my Pinterest wedding board just got a bit more exciting.
