Man Calls 911 After Cat Attacks & Locks Him Out

Everyone knows that cats are assholes. I like cats. I have one (okay, well my roommate has one, but it spends a lot of time in my room). And even I know they are assholes. They’re rude, inconsiderate, and just plain mean and arrogant. But no one learned this as painfully as Mohammed Lokman did earlier this week.
After his eight-pound cat apparently repeatedly “attacked him,” Lokman and his wife were forced to hide out in their car for a few hours. You know, to let the cat cool down and what not. Turns out, the cat had given birth to a kitten the day before. One would argue the cat was just being protective and that is what sparked the attack. I argue that the cat was just really pissed off because giving birth is a really traumatic and horrific experience (or so I’ve heard). Either way…
After waiting it out for over 4 hours, Lockman and his wife decided enough is enough and did the only sane, rational thing you can do when your cat has gone ballistic: They called 911.
You can listen to the audio from the 911 call below:

On the recording, Lokman can be heard saying, “I have a problem in my home. I cannot go inside my home. My cat was getting too aggressive. I was inside and she attacked me, and she scratched me in my leg and bite me. So me and my wife, we come outside and now we cannot go in the home for like three, four hours… We cannot move. We cannot do anything. It’s so aggressive and so mean.”
The operator then responds (what we are all thinking), “Okay. You said ‘a cat’?”
Eventually, the police were dispatched to the house, let the family back inside the home, and advised them to stay away from the cat for the rest of the night.
Our thoughts & prayers are with Lokman and his wife… and with any other owner of these unpredictable, venomous creatures.
