Lena Dunham Is Launching A Feminist Newsletter For Millennial Women

You’d think Lena Dunham has enough on her plate. She’s super busy filming and writing Girls, winning Emmys, and making cameos in Taylor Swift music videos, but she’s about to add another line to her résumé. With Girls showrunner Jenni Konner, Dunham plans to launch Lenny, a weekly e-newsletter filled with advice and thoughts on everything from feminism to style.
Dunham told Buzzfeed that Lenny is for “an army of like-minded intellectually curious women and the people who love them, who want to bring change but also want to know, like, where to buy the best tube top for summer that isn’t going to cost your entire paycheck.”
Like Lena, Lenny won’t be afraid to tackle the issues that people generally don’t like to talk about. Next to makeup tips, don’t be afraid to see political essays or talk about abortion.

Besides the well-experienced writing staff, who have experience everywhere from Buzzfeed to Pitchfork, expect to see guest editing from Lena’s celebs friends – yes, there very well might be an essay on rompers penned by T. Swift or Allison Williams.
You can sign up for Lenny by visiting LennyLetter.com, and you’ll start receiving a weekly e-mail from your pal Lena in September.
