I guess the director of Silver Lining’s Playbook and American Hustle has a thing for Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper because the two will be starring in yet another downright serious film together entitled Joy. We’re not totally sure exactly what the plot of this movie is all about based off of the trailer, but it seems pretty legit.
According to 20th Century Fox, “Joy is the wild story of a family across four generations centered on the girl who becomes the woman who founds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch in her own right. Betrayal, treachery, the loss of innocence and the scars of love pave the road in this intense emotional and human comedy about becoming a true boss of family and enterprise facing a world of unforgiving commerce. Allies become adversaries and adversaries become allies, both inside and outside the family, as Joy’s inner life and fierce imagination carry her through the storm she faces.”
Stars like Robert De Niro and Orange Is The New Black’s Dacha Polanco will star in the movie as well. Sounds riveting enough for us. If it portrays a romance anything like the weirdly sexy one in Silver Lining’s Playbook, we’re definitely interested. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper should honestly just date because they obviously make a solid tag team.
