PSA: Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar is serving up free apps all day today- a.k.a. somewhere in the “neighborhood” of two million plates of food. So why exactly is the restaurant chain giving away items such as Sriracha Shrimp and Churro S’mores? They’re changing up their menu and using their customers (makes sense) in a nationwide taste test dubbed, “Taste the Change Day.”
This campaign hopes to call attention to new menu items such as pot stickers and sweet potato fries, hopefully bringing in more customers and revenue for the brand.
