This Woman Fell To Her Death From A Rooftop Bar & Nobody Stopped To Help

Usually, it’s all fun and games at a party until something goes wrong, but in this case, when something went wrong, the fun and games still ensued.
Thirty-year-old is Faigy Mayer, a startup founder and tech entrepreneur, threw herself off the swanky New York City rooftop bar 230 Fifth located in the Flatiron District on Monday night, plunging 20 stories down to her death. The worst part isn’t even the devastating situation, but the fact that people at the rooftop bar proceeded to drink and enjoy their night after the incident occurred. We’re not sure what’s in the water in New York City around this bar, but this extremely sad event is only made more upsetting by the people whom couldn’t stop to notice the utter tragedy.
A witness claimed the following:

“There was a big corporate party up there and she kind of ran through them [the partygoers] and jumped. They closed off the section where she jumped from. I think a lot of the people up there had zero clue what was going on.”

Faigy Mayer, a startup founder and tech entrepreneur,
Were they blacked out or just terribly ignorant human beings? Unsure. Although the people of the bar supposedly “didn’t know” because the staff didn’t let the word out, you would think that someone would catch on quickly enough that eventually everyone would have enough of a heart to stop drinking and go home, at LEAST. If this is what our society has come to, we think it’s time to do some serious re-evaluating.
This seems to follow a trend of New Yorkers not really caring about what’s happening in the world around them. Recently, singer Brandy took to the subway only to find that riders essentially ignored her. Time for a wake up call, NYC.
