First Miranda and Blake, Kourtney and Scott, Ben and Jennifer, now Gwen and Gavin? (Yes, we’re all on a first name basis.) Yet another Hollywood couple calls it quits this summer.
After 13 years of marriage, Gwen Stefani filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale and cited irreconcilable differences in the court papers.
The singers are both filing for joint custody of their three children: 9-year-old Kingston, 6-year-old Zuma, and 1-year-old Apollo.
The “Hollaback Girl” singer, 45, is worth a staggering $85 million while Rossdale, 49, is worth $35 million. TMZ reports that there was no prenup, which means the 50/50 California community property laws come into play.
The couple released a statement today saying, “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.”
Stefani and Rossdale were last seen together in July while at a restaurant with their three kids.
I mean, 13 years in a Hollywood marriage is comparable to sixty years in an everyday human marriage. So we’ll cut them some slack.
