Iggy Azalea Opens Up About Her Plastic Surgery

Iggy Azalea has finally answered the question that we were all asking back in May – Why does she look different? The answer is she had a nose job.
She finally opens up about her surgery in the September issue of Seventeen Magazine stating “I’m not denying it, it’s true.”
Her nose job isn’t the first time that she has gone under the knife. She has previously admitted to getting breast implants as well. As far as she’s concerned, there’s no reason to hide it. “I don’t think you should be ashamed if you made a change to yourself, which is why I’ve spoken about the changes I’ve made, like with my breasts.”
At least she’s being up front and honest about it. If you are thinking about getting cosmetic surgery, Iggy feels like you shouldn’t rush into it. “Your perception of yourself can change a lot over time,” she explains. “So I think it’s important to wait and make sure it’s the right choice.”
Before getting her surgery, she did enough research to make sure the procedure was safe and it was something that she actually wanted to do. “I read a lot about nose jobs online. Some women are really happy they got them, and some women changed their noses when they were younger, and when they got older they wished they didn’t.”
Iggy states that there is a lot more to plastic surgery than just the physical appearance.”Plastic surgery is an emotional journey,” Iggy says. “It’s no easy feat to live with your flaws and accept yourself—and it’s no easy feat to change yourself. Either way you look at it, it’s a tough journey. There are things that I didn’t like about myself that I changed through surgery. There are other things I dislike but I’ve learned to accept.”
A great sentiment from the rapper and a great way to promote body positivity. “It’s important to remember you can’t change everything,” says Iggy. “You can never be perfect.”
No one is perfect and you have to appreciate all your flaws.
