Eight months ago, Kendrick Lamar performed on The Colbert Report as the last musical guest ever. It only makes sense that next month, Kendrick will be Stephen Colbert’s first musical guest on the brand new late night program, Late Show with Stephen Colbert. This news was released by Colbert himself at a tour stop for the Television Critics Association press tour on Monday.
Late Show with Stephen Colbert premieres on September 8 on CBS. Perhaps we can expect a joint-performance of Kendrick Lamar and jazz musician, Jon Batiste?
