Lauren Forsythe is just another girl joining the #FreeTheNipple movement. Instead of letting the girls totally free, Forsythe posted a photo of her in a bathing suit, appropriate referred to as the TaTa Top, that happened to feature a picture of two nipples places where her usual nipples would be if she was totally naked. Unfortunately, the sophomore at Christian college Belmont University in Tennessee’s sorority wasn’t impressed by her bikini.
Her sisters at Belmont’s Phi Mu Fraternity’s Theta chapter did not approve of her posting the picture and told her to take it down. Lauren wasn’t having it. The 19 year old chose to resign from the sorority instead of giving up her nipple bikini. She explained,
If I stayed in the sorority and didn’t take it down, we would be in trouble with Panhellenic at our school and also with Nationals. I’m not looking to get my sorority in trouble with the school and make them pay all these hefty fines, so I figured I would just save them the process and just drop out myself.
Since when did signing a bid mean signing away your right to post what you want to on your social media pages? Four for you, Lauren!
