Watch: Feminists Protest Photoshop

I won’t lie: I watched this video somewhere upwards of five times in a row. It’s that good, it’s that inspiring and it’s that important. released a video titled “Feminists vs. Photostop” featuring women of different shapes and sizes showing off their un-photoshopped bodies and quite frankly, just looking really f*cking bad*ss. It was made in order to protest the double standards of beauty for women.
Pardon my French.
Each of the seven ladies, first filmed in “This Is What A #Feminist Looks Like” t-shirts, nearly immediately strip themselves of their clothes. Staring into the camera, these women tell the camera that real women can have wrinkles, curves, muscles, skinny, big-breasted, flat-chested–“whatever the f*ck they are.” The video concludes with the seven women giving the middle finger to the camera, telling it to “Photoshop this.”
It’s a great video, however, my only qualm is, as a half-Chinese woman, is that Asian women are absent from the video. We’re feminists, too, people.
