One Direction to go on Hiatus

Hiatus is a word that causes any music fan pain. Today, however, I find my chest without pains and aches.
Over the weekend, the immensely-popular four-piece band, One Direction, announced that they would be going their separate ways come March 2016 after their fifth album is released. It is rumored that Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan want to concentrate on their solo projects.
The hiatus was planned “with or without Zayn [Malik],” who left One Direction this past March.
One Direction has been together for five years, meaning that the hiatus taken next March would be the first break for the four-piece boy band. It was reported that “there is…no bad blood between them and they are all 100% behind the decision.”
Fear not, Directioners! This hiatus is not a break-up. The remaining four members fully intend to get back together at some point in the future. As for now, One Direction’s last full concert will be at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena on October 31. Following a Christmas break, the band will get back together in February to promote their fifth album. However, there will be no tour for the group’s fifth album.
None of the band has tweeted about the news so far.
