These Girls Are Protesting Their High School's Ban On Wearing Yoga Pants

Cape Cod Regional Technical High School is just one of many schools who have now banned the wearing of yoga pants by ladies. Why, you might ask, would you deny a young female her right to wear a perfectly comfortable pair of leggings? According to the Cape Cod Times, senior class president of Cape Cod Tech, Seana Aiolupotea, said, “I think they’re making the rules because boys are becoming distracted.”
If yoga pants are being banned from schools because they make boys distracted, we might as well start banning girl’s attendance from school in general. And let me tell you, feminists everywhere will be showing up at your homes with pitchforks and torches over it. Let’s face the facts – we don’t wear yoga pants to impress the boys, we wear them because they’re comfortable, stretchy, and are form fitting to our occasionally bloated stomachs. They’re one of God’s greatest gifts to Earth, really.
“We’re not wearing them to get attention from people; we’re wearing them to be comfortable,” said Aiolupotea. And ain’t that the truth. With that said, the girls of Cape Cod Regional Tech have devised a plan to make the first day of school this year “First Day= Yoga Pants,” which 200 of them will be participating in according to My Fox Boston. The event description reads, “We can’t help we were born girls and we shouldn’t have to pay for it either because boys can’t ‘control’ themselves.”
