Jon Stewart Makes Surprise Cameo During Stephen Colbert’s 'Late Show' Debut

If there was any time to be a proud American, it’s right now.
Last night, during Stephen Colbert’s Late Show premiere episode, Colbert took to the streets of New York to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” with random people. The man, with his sheer patriotism, even took over a bowling alley before ending his parade at an all-American baseball field. He was approached by an umpire who unmasked himself to be Jon Stewart!

During the opening number, Colbert and Stewart shared a pitch-perfect moment and concluded “The Star-Spangled Banner” in the most epic of proportions. I had no idea Stephen Colbert could sing so well and I think the scenes in the loud workshop are hilarious.
