Whitney Houston to 'Perform' in Hologram Concert

Legendary singer Whitney Houston will take center stage in a nationwide tour fronted by Hologram USA and Pat Houston, the late singer’s sister, come 2016.
With the “I Want to Dance With Somebody” singer’s passing in 2012, the Hologram honchos alongside Pat, are making every Whitney fan’s dream come true with this venture they have lined up, which will first debut at a U.S. venue then continue to tour nationwide.
The hologram is not the only thing coming, though. “The content created by FilmOn Studios will be syndicated across all digital and cable platforms. The show will be interactive and feature the singer’s greatest hits alongside as-yet-unannounced special guests,” according to Rolling Stone.
Ali David, Hologram USA and FilmOn CEO said in a statement, “The opportunity to share her spectacular gifts with the world again is exactly what I hoped for when I built the hologram business. I’m confident we’ll create the ultimate celebration of Whitney’s amazing artistry.”
Likewise, Pat added, “It’s a great opportunity for her fans to see a reinvention of one the most celebrated female artists in history and to continue a legacy of performances that will not be forgotten in years to come.”
Just recently Hologram USA partnered with the Apollo Theater in Harlem where they will project performances of the same kind starting with a Billie Holiday concert around Thanksgiving.
Houston now joins Selena, Tupac and Michael Jackson in the treatment of late celeb hologram concerts.
