Girls Everywhere Are Joining Lane Bryant's #PlusisEqual Campaign to Promote Body Diversity in The Fashion World

It doesn’t matter what size you are – it’s time to represent all types of women.
About 67 percent of women are between the sizes of 14-24, but very few of these sizes of women are represented in the fashion world. Lane Bryant is willing to change that with their Plus Is Equal campaign.

The campaign’s goal is to help “balance the equation” of models across billboards and magazines so young girls of all sizes can see them and feel good about themselves. Candice Huffine, Ashley Graham, Precious Victoria Lee, Georgia Pratt, Justine Legault, and Sabrina Karlsson are all plus size models who are included in the ad wearing Lane Bryant’s amazing fall collection.

Model Ashley Graham said, “Size shouldn’t matter when you’re talking about a woman who just wants to be fashionable,” Candice Huffine added, “We’re proud, strong, fashion-forward, stylish…same as everyone else, with extra curves.”

Girl all over are going the movement on social media, celebrating their size and showing the world  that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes by showcasing it with amazing pictures along with inspiring messages.
There’s even a billboard in Times Square showing the amazing campaign.

Along with the awesome campaign, you can include yourself on a billboard, on your phone at least, if you download the #PlusIsEqual billboard app.

This campaign is a good start to help empower women and bring awareness to everyone in the fashion industry that feels beauty is only one type. Hurray for Lane Bryant – we can’t wait to see what the future holds for full figured women.
