Playboy is primarily known as the magazine that revolutionized sex since its debut in 1953, but there comes a time when everything needs to reinvent itself. In an announcement today, Playboy has revealed that they will no longer publish fully nude women. Is it really because nudity is “just passé at this juncture,” as the magazine’s Chief Executive, Scott Flanders, said? Or are they looking for better advertising dollars with more PG-13 rated photos? All we know is that it’s the end of an era. This relaunch of Playboy is set to happen in March 2016, which makes us wonder if any other big-name celebrities will strip down for the magazine in the meantime. They’d be joining a group that includes Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, and other huge female celebrities that bared it all in the magazine. If you’ve got it, flaunt it, right? Check out some of the biggest celebrities who appeared naked in Playboy before they decided to get all squeaky clean on us.
