If you’re over paying $7 for a Coors Light at the crowded bars on Halloween, throwing your own party is the way to go. But before you start adding recipes, games, and DIY decorations to your Pinterest board, you have to pick a theme. Although I do love that Halloween is the only time when a slutty Disney princess and a zombie having a dance floor make out is socially acceptable, in my opinion, Halloween is too broad. A party theme that still allows people to dress up will bring everything together, plus give you some direction on how to decorate, what music to put on your playlist, and what food to serve. Yes, you can still have a costume contest.
