SAE Bro Asks Feminist For Rush Boobs Pic, Things Don’t Pan Out So Well For Him

You’ve probably seen photos of “Rush Boobs” – they’re pics of a girls’ breasts that usually read “Rush [Insert Frat Letters Here]” and used for recruitment purposes by the bros. Don’t ask me how it started, but it’s definitely a thing now. Honestly, I’m surprised it’s gone this long without someone saying something.

An SAE fraternity brother from UCSD, Spenser Cornett, made the bold move of asking a woman he met at a gender equality meeting for a topless picture displaying his frat’s letters. Somewhat ironically, that was a “Free the Nipple” event, but it’s an entirely different story when you’re using lady parts to impress potential new members.

Did he seriously think this was going to work? No…just no.

Rachel Friedman, the second year student at University of California, San Diego who was asked via text for the picture, took the issue to Facebook, posting a status about her anger:

“I am utterly disgusted with the fact that this fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, is trying to use the degradation of (womxn) to promote rush, and I am personally offended that I was even asked to do such a thing. It’s time people take their heads out of their asses and RESPECT others.”

And now it’s on the local news.

SAE has responded with the following statement:

Friedman has said that the SAE chapter at UCSD has apologized as well.
