Last night was James Franco‘s Bar Mitzvah. Why is the actor/writer having this celebration 25 years past the normal age to have it? The event, which was held at the Hollywood Palladium, was actually held as a benefit for the Alzheimer’s Association. It was put on by Hilarity for Charity, an organization that was created by Seth Rogen and his wife, Lauren. This is the fourth year in a row the variety show has been put on to raise awareness about the fight against Alzheimer’s. And in celebration we’ll also have a mohel and a live bris for James at the event.” (FYI, a mohel is the person who performs a circumcision.) This year Miley Cyrus headlined the show, performing in a blue thong leotard and accessorizing with a giant Star of David.
