While consent seems pretty clear to many, maybe we need to break it down even more for the few who still can’t grasp the concept, almost as if we’re talking to first graders.

When someone says they’re not sure if they want a cup of tea, don’t make them drink the tea.
When someone says they want tea but then change their mind, don’t make them drink the tea.
When someone is unconscious, don’t make them tea and don’t make them drink the tea.
