As a self-proclaimed indie kid, I am almost ashamed to admit that I am completely flabbergasted and stunned by Justin Bieber‘s music as of late. My shock, however, is not of the typical indie kid snobbery, but rather of positive shock (“Sorry” is painfully catchy and I have had it on repeat for hours this week).
Following in the footsteps of many other artists as of late, Justin Bieber has covered “Hotline Bling” by Drake. He posted a video to Instagram, asking his fans to go to his Twitter to discover a phone number to call Bieber “on his cell phone.” You can watch the video below.
The tweet itself features a photo of Bieber himself holding a a tennis racket covered in text that reads “1-800-HOTLINEBLING.” You can view the tweet below.

By calling the number featured in the tweet, “231-377-1113,” you can hear the Canadian-native singer’s cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” The song itself opens up with Bieber in the middle of a fuzzy conversation, asking, “What do you mean it’s not like that? Oh, you’re sorry? … Well, where are you now that I need you?”
A shameless self-plug.
If you’re like me and you get immense stage fright from making phone calls, you can listen to the track via Soundcloud below. However, I’d imagine half the fun of the remix is actually calling for the hotline bling.
