Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were purposely teasing us this past Halloween weekend, but the romance rumors are rumors no longer. Country-star Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been confirmed as an official couple as of Wednesday night. Both stars ended long-term relationships this year; Shelton with Miranda Lambert in July and Stefani from Gavin Rossdale a couple of weeks later. The two are currently mentors on NBC’s The Voice.
An insider broke the news to People and said that “They’ve been supporting each other through a difficult time and they’re really happy together.” Shelton’s representative has also confirmed the romance news.
Stefani is currently in Nashville, Tennessee, for the Country Music Association Awards (CMA) with her new boyfriend as he is scheduled to perform tonight.
The source continued, stating that “Everyone is thrilled because they’re both incredibly nice people.”
The CMA Awards is scheduled for November 4, 2015 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
