Move over, Maddie Ziegler. Sia is adding to her miniature squad of talented, kick ass ladies. Sia’s latest music video for her song “Alive” puts a new young girl in the spotlight.
World, meet 9-year-old Mahiro Takano.

It’s actually impossible to look away from Takano’s amazing moves. Paired with Sia’s soaring vocals, it’s just too good.
If Takano looks familiar, there’s a reason why. A video of her at 7 years old practicing Kanku Dai kata, a choreographed pattern of movements, went viral last year. That’s exactly how Sia found her and recruited her for her mini-“Bad Blood” squad.

In addition to practicing martial arts, Takano is an actor and dancer. I hear she does commercials…in Japan.
