If there’s anything that the Kardashians can do really well, it’s emulating the most decadent time periods of American history: the Roaring 20s. Lavish lifestyles, amazing parties, love and drama? A near textbook definition for the Kardashian family.
Last night, some of the Kardashian children (namely, Kendall, Kylie and Kourtney) threw their mother, Kris Jenner, a blowout birthday bash at a ritzy location in West Hollywood for her 60th birthday. Following in the footsteps of Jay Gatsby, the family threw a spectacular party that drew celebrities from all over. Some names who attended last night include Caitlyn Jenner, Boy George, Tyga, Chrissy Teigen, Melanie Griffith and Kris’ boyfriend, Corey Gamble. Attendants dressed up in elegant, glitzy fashion, which was reminiscent of the wild fabulousness of the Roaring 20s.
A copy of the invitation to the party reads, “Because we love her…please share in our excitement at a special birthday celebration honoring Kris,” according to TMZ. The night was promised to be full of champagne, dancing and dinner. The party is rumored to have cost a cool $2 million. But, hey, anything for mom, right?
