Hey, do you know Mike Hunt? What about Jack Goff? Kenya Swallow?
We’re all guilty of falling for one of these dirty sounding names at some point in our middle school careers.
Unfortunately for Australian Phuc Dat Bich, he’s not kidding.
Yes. This dude’s legal name is Phuc Dat Bich, but Facebook didn’t think the joke was so funny. In fact, they banned his account due to his naughty name.
Bich, 23, took to his new Facebook page in January to clear things up.
Along with a photo of his passport, he writes,
“I find it highly irritating the fact that nobody seems to believe me when I say that my full legal name is how you see it. I’ve been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive. Is it because I’m Asian? Is it?
Having my fb shut down multiple times and forced to change my name to my “real” name, so just to put it out there. My name.
Phuc Dat Bich”
The post has since been liked more than 130,000 times.
For the record, it’s actually pronounced “Phoo Da Bic,” but it’s way more fun the other way.
It was all a joke.
“What started as a joke between friends, became a prank that made a fool out of the media and brought out the best in the people who reached out to me,” he wrote on a Facebook post.
The 23-year-old Melbourne man signed the post as “Joe Carr” — which sounds suspiciously like joker…
