The California town about 60 miles east of Los Angeles experienced a tragedy Wednesday when three shooters opened fire at a residence for the developmentally disabled called Inland Regional Center. A press conference reported 14 people were killed and another 14 wounded.

Malik is believed to have pledged allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi just days before the attack on a Facebook post, however the page is under a different name. Officials did not explain how they knew Malik wrote the post.
Investigators are looking into whether Malik, who spent most of her childhood in Saudi Arabia, radicalized her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook.
Coworkers reports that Syed Farook attended the Inland Regional Center’s holiday party and left angry. About twenty minutes later, he returned to the center with his wife and began shooting. The two were allegedly dressed in armored clothing and armed with assault rifles while entering the building.
According to the Daily Mail, Farook had an altercation with Jewish coworker Nicholas Thalasinos shortly before the shooting began. Thalasinos was one of the numerous victims.
Malik and Farook met on a dating website and had been married for two years. They had a 6-month-old baby who was dropped off at Farook’s mother’s house when the shooting occurred.

Little information is known about Malik other than her age (she’s 27) and that she was Muslim. According to several sources, she was also a pharmacist and believed to be Pakistani. Her background is currently under investigation.

The photo above is of the couple’s house from a helicopter. They were led to the home from a tip and found the suspects in a dark SUV. They quickly fled, which led to the shootout that killed both Malik and Farook.
Investigators searched the neighborhood, and police allegedly found 12 pipe bomb-type devices inside the home.
Evidence suggests that this shooting was planned ahead of time.
Meredith Davis, a spokeswoman for the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, told NBC News, “With my experience with other mass shootings, there are indicators that this was well planned out. It was to be violent in nature. They were in tactical gear, I don’t know if they had ballistic protection… And had several several magazines full of ammunition fashioned to their bodies. So they were ready for a gunfight should that occur.”
Two handguns were recovered and traced back to Farook, both of which were purchases legally three or four years ago. Two additional rifles were purchased illegally around the same time, but the purchaser is unknown.
Both shooters wore a GoPro camera during the shooting, yet there has yet to be mention of actual footage.
