This Hilarious Video Proves 'Instagram Husbands' Are Essentially All Of Us

You follow girls on Instagram and sometimes you can’t help but wonder- how do these people have so much free time on their hands, and who is it that takes all of these photos? Or do they carry around a tripod everywhere they go? A selfie stick? That can’t be practical. Today the mystery has been solved: Instagram husbands.
In a new video uploaded to YouTube, husbands of Instagram blogger-types (aka the one behind the lens, er, iPhone) hilariously demonstrate just how much time and effort goes into a photo merely to get someone to double tap.

“We used to eat our food. Now we just takes pictures of it.” Same, tbh.
The (lame) reality that we all have to now face is that a.) we are addicted to our phones and b.) we feel the need to let people know that our lives aren’t boring.
“We have to show everyone how much we enjoy our lives together,” one of the wives said.
An online support community, InstagramHusband.com, was also launched with “real life” stories from guys:
“Do they still show trailers before movies? I have no idea. I’m being serious. I don’t know if they show them. I do, however, know that I have a lot of pictures holding popcorn looking down at our feet.” -J. Houghton
Dude we feel you, we totally feel you. And if you don’t have a husband? Well, I guess that tripod will have to do.
