Mandy Moore Needs Spousal Support From Ex-Husband Ryan Adams To Care For Their Pets

You’d think a former pop star and voice of a Disney princess like Mandy Moore would be living the good life, but it turns out the singer needs spousal support following her recent divorce from Ryan Adams (yes, the guy who re-recorded Taylor Swift’s 1989 album). Moore says she needs the money to buy…cat food?
Citing court documents related to their divorce proceedings, People magazine says that Mandy Moore is requesting spousal support from her ex-husband so she can take care for their eight cats and dogs, many of which were rescued.

“Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time,” Moore writes in her petition, and “without Ryan’s help caring for the house and our pets, I have not been able to work as much as I would like.” Ryan had apparently promised to take two of their cats, but hasn’t yet done so.
Somehow, the actress is making less than Ryan…by a lot. The papers say she earns about a quarter of his earnings, and this is a guy whose focus this year was a Taylor Swift cover album. Where’s that eye roll emoji?
Moore and Adams married in 2009, just a month after getting engaged, but announced their split in January.

At least Mandy should get some $$ from reprising her role as Rapunzel from Tangled in the upcoming TV series.
